Mars Perseverance Rover and Ingenuity Size Comparison

This tactile image allows both sighted and visually impaired people to compare the size of the Mars Perseverance Rover, Ingenuity Helicopter, and an astronaut.

The overlapping parts of the Perseverance rover pose a challenge when created for tactile use. The traditional methods used to create an illusion of depth in 2D cannot be used here. To simulate that attribute, small areas of white were added to separate areas that overlapped. This can primarily be seen around the wheels and the beams that connect them to the body of the rover.
